Some of the best restaurants and home chefs in our area will prepare their tastiest dishes for Cape May's 2nd Annual Chili and Chowder Cook-Off. All who attend have a chance to not only taste the deliciousness, but also judge the competition in various categories. Last year, our own Blue Pig Tavern took home the overall prize! Forum on the Green - Farm to Table Dinner

Come out from winter hibernation and go “green” in Cape May this coming St. Patrick’s Day weekend as Cape May Forum partners with Slow Food South Jersey Shore to host “Forum on the Green: A Farm-to-Table Dinner at Congress Hall on Friday, March 16, at 6pm. Cape May’s acclaimed Farm-to-Table Executive Chef Lucas Manteca of the Virginia Hotel’s Ebbitt Room will craft this uniquely “green” dining experience with the freshest of ingredients from Beach Plum Farm, and other local sources. The ticket price is $50 per person with proceeds to benefit Cape May Forum and Slow Food South Jersey Shore (a tax deductible donation receipt of $25 will be given for each ticket).

14th Annual Ocean Drive Marathon

The Ocean Drive Marathon is run on a beautiful 26.2-Mile point-to-point
course thru the scenic barrier islands of Cape May County, NJ.
This USATF-NJ 500 point Grand Prix event offers a USATF certified,
Atlantic Coastal flat and fast, paved road and boardwalk, point-to-
point, qualifying course that begins in Victorian Cape May City,
continues, via the Ocean Drive, over 4 drawbridges through the fishing
port of Lower Township onto the Wildwoods island (where you run
the length of its famous Boardwalk) through Middle Township on into
the island communities of Stone Harbor and Avalon, and finishes on
the Promenade on the island town of Sea Isle City. To register and for

Cape May Singer Songwriter Weekend
March 30 - 31
The 5th annual Singer-Songwriter of Cape May will be held at historic
Congress Hall and select showcase venues in Cape May. SS Cape
May features two afternoons of music business panels, workshops,
clinics, mentoring & demo listening sessions and musical keynotes
at the historic Congress Hall Hotel & Harrison Conference Center.
There will also be live performances at the venues at Congress Hall
and throughout Cape May all weekend long. The music business
conference is open to the public but requires registration. Most
musical performances are free. A few special event performances
