Carol and Vince Parrillo (Parents of the Bride) September 19, 2009 We had Amy and Chris's wedding on the 19th of this month. It was spectacular and truly exceeded our expectations. The setting, service and staff were wonderful. We wanted to let you know that we believe what made it even better was working with Daniella. She was absolutely wonderful. All of her recommendations were great, and she was a pleasure to deal with. We looked to her for help with just about everything and she always "had time" for us - returning phone calls, making suggestions, etc. We were very comfortable with her and she always made us feel "special".

My husband and I have both been "in business" for many years and had many people reporting to us. It was always very nice for each of us to hear about people on our staffs who provided exceptional service. Because of that, we, in turn, also like to recognize people who go "above and beyond" when providing us with the exceptional service. So, we would like for you (and your management) to know that Daniella did just that. You and your management at Congress Hall should be commended for hiring great people.

After such a great experience, I do believe that Cape May (and Congress Hall) will be our new "favorite place" to visit in September/October every year.

Kelli and Jonathan Beswick (Bride and Groom) June 14, 2009 Our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams thanks to you. I had no worries going into the wedding day knowing it was in good hands. I have had so many compliments about the reception staff. Everyone was amazed the bartenders knew everyone's names and drinks and how everyone was smiling all night. There is not one thing I would have changed. I am so thankful to have met you. If there is anything I can do to help you please let me know. I will make sure I send you some pictures when I get them. Becky and Ryan Gatto (Bride and Groom) April 11, 2009 Ryan and I got married at Congress Hall on April 11th, 2009. We chose Congress Hall because of the beautiful property, ocean views, great food, and friendly staff. Let's just say that we had the time of our lives! Aside from a little rain, the day could not have been more perfect. Our Wedding Coordinator was incredibly professional, easy going and a delight to work with. She did everything she could to accommodate our needs and was able to take our vision of our wedding day and execute it perfectly. With countless contingency plans due to the weather, our guests had no idea that our ceremony and cocktail hour were initially to be held outside. The staff acted quickly and did an amazing job creating a perfect setting indoors. It was lovely! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping make our wedding day so special, and THANK YOU to the entire Congress Hall staff for your professionalism.

The guests were impressed with and food (good and hot!) at both events, and all the other planning that went into making it so "beautiful" for us all. We've had non-stop compliments ever since - phone calls, emails, cards - everyone loved Congress Hall! It truly is a one-of-a kind venue, and we're so lucky to have gotten that last 2008 date! The veranda was lovely and the ballroom was just beautiful. I cannot imagine having a beach wedding anywhere else, and would highly recommend CH to anyone.

Everything about our experience there was just wonderful - the food was delicious, the cake was beautiful, the waitstaff attentive and courteous. Kevin and Lucy Kelly (Parents of the Bride) June 7, 2008 The staff of Congress Hall helped make my daughter's wedding seem like the only wedding in the world! There is something extremely special about your only daughter's wedding day. The 'father of the bride' hopes that everything goes smoothly; that guests have a wonderful time and the bride and groom enjoy a perfect day. Dad is left on the sidelines (with checkbook) while the 'deciders' settle on hundreds of options. Nevertheless, I'm more convinced than ever that the most pivotal decision for success is choosing the right venue and we picked a winner with Congress Hall.

The beautiful historic setting was perfectly complimented by enthusiastic, professional Congress Hall staff. The food, bar service and decor were top shelf. Virtually all of our 200 plus guests claimed it was the best wedding they have ever attended! (and I think they were right). Months later we are still receiving raves from attendees. Most important, my daughter and new son-in-law had such a marvelous day to start out their lives together. Thank you all for making one of the most important days of our lives so very special. Congress Hall exceeded my most optimistic expectations.

Ed & Marilyn Tokarsky September 28, 2007 Christa and Matt's wedding reception was a beautiful event from the Cocktail Hour to the last dance. Everything went flawlessly. The Ballroom was set-up beautifully; the Wait Staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. We had one guest say that the Wait Staff enhanced the joyfulness of the event. The food was amazing as was its presentation. A number of our guests commented on the preciseness with which the filet was cooked, and yet another said it was one of the best crab cakes he had ever tasted. The wedding cake was a work of art. We have wonderful pictures to that proof.

We were able to enjoy the entire event so much more because we were so relaxed. You had prepared for everything and we had total confidence in you. Your hard work made it possible and did not go unnoticed by ourselves or our guests. Many of our guests told us how great you were and that you were on the ball. We had so many special touches that our guests loved, but must have driven you crazy. Everything was put out and executed as we had envisioned. We even forgot about the boot stein for my aunt, but you had it come out just as scheduled. Our event was truly flawless, from the ceremony to the food to the last dance and after-party in the Brown Room.

June 30, 2007 We came for the Wedding Tasting, as our daughter is getting married here on June 30, 2007. We had no idea what to expect in any regard; but once the ballroom doors opened, all came into focus. What a beautiful ballroom and a very "tasteful" experience (I mean literally and figuratively). We were well informed and came away with a very helpful picture of what the event would be like. You have very talented chefs, very courteous wait-staff and other staff, and a beautiful, historic hotel. We LOVE the tiffany blue walls with the black & white floors especially. Every detail seems to have been taken care of and fully thought out.
